When opportunity knocks
Chasing their basketball dreams has always been a common trait for the trio of Jason Go, Allen Magtanong & Bernolf Abary
The Caroline Springs Blue Devils products were invited to compete in the Homegrown Basketball Australia tournament representing Melbourne in Sydney over the Australia Day long weekend.
They finished 3rd overall after narrowly losing in the Semi Final. However, it was the news they received after the tournament that has them really excited about the future.
The 3 were selected to represent Australia in March, where they will be playing against International teams, Colleges and High Schools in the Philippines.
As thankful as they are for the opportunity, they know this really is just the beginning of their next chapters.
The boys will be fundraising for their trip over the next few weeks, and they are looking to get as much support as they can from the club and community.
